I was reading a forum, scrolling down using my mouse and.....did something  :-[ Now, all font sizes are HUGE. Once upon a time I knew how to increase/decrease text - but that was then - and this is now ;D

Have you tried CTRL --- and CTRL +++  It makes things bigger and smaller.

Hyacinth

Hmm, that's an operating system... If you haven't installed a new web-browser (like Firefox or Opera) you're probably using Windows Internet Explorer 6. The following instructions might help.

Thanks. I'll go & see what it says. This really is a BIG problem here ;D

If using ie, go to top of page and click on view then text size

I use medium

WOWEEEE!!! Very many thanks sholls (and now nilly too). Back to normal! Don't know how on earth I managed to mess it up in the first place tho.

Now, as a token of my thanks, can I send you two anything?

Blighted tomatoes/potatoes, for instance?

Very many thanks again - the size had changed to 'largest' - try it to see just how big it was :o

Glad it worked, it happened to us about a month ago after the baby was pressing all the buttons on the laptop, except it was set to small :o

I can imagine! 'Largest' can be anything between 24 and 48 point! Glad it's sorted. :)

Was tearing my hair out. Try reading train timetables using the largest settings ::)

My OH used my computer and managed to press the button which turned off the wireless connection.  Only he had no idea what he might have done.  The diagnostic told me to turn it back on but did not tell me where this button was. Finally found that F2 has a little light house on it and if you press that it switches on and off the wireless.

Fancy having to read the manual, except you don't get a manual any more.

Have you tried just sitting further from the screen?

I use SeaMonkey, in that you go to View/Text Zoom/ and it says "Smaller=Ctrl+-", and "Larger=Ctrl++".
