Allotments 4 All

Would anyone have a foolproof recipe for pickling shallots please? I have looked online but there seems to be a lot of variations as to how to pickle them.

I bought some plants, reduced to 10p a little tray at B&Q, and now I have enough to pickle!  :D

I have just realised thatsomeone else has asked the same thing! duh!
