Allotments 4 All

My OH can't eat onions due to having an hiatus hernia but I would like to use some of the beetroot on the plot to make a chutney.

Seen some great recipes on here for Beetroot Chutney and will be trying a couple of them for me and the kids.  Does anyone have, please, a nice recipe for non onion chutney - or do I just miss out the onion from a recipe ?

I reckon you could miss out the onions.  Most recipes seem to have apples too so maybe add a bit extra of that to compensate.   Try making a small quantity as a test to see if it works OK.
