I have just sent off for some CHRYS, now what do i do next.
I would normally pot them up and plant out at a later date,but these were on offer in T &Ms book so they will arrive much earlier than usual.
when will it be safe to plant them ETC.

Are they cuttings from old plants or complete plants?

What ever they are they will not be frost hardy and need to be kept in a frost free greenhouse.

Last year was my first going these, they came as rotted cuttings from T&M in July. I planted these out and they produced a good crop of cut flowers.

Before first frost I dug up the plants, cut them back to 6 inches and potted up to store in the greenhouse.

They are now sprouting again, these sprouts or stools will be taken as cuttings for this years plants.

You can see them here:

I am no expert but was happy with the results from last year;
