Allotments 4 All

Mixed results this year. Grew two varieties Marco and Thermidor. Both planted around the shortest day.
Marco has struggled all year and we have basically got a big single clove from each one. Tastes fine but disappointing. A couple bulbed up.
Thermidor has produced lovely big bulbs with many cloves. Haven't tasted them yet. All drying now and judging by the smell we are vampire proof.

Only second season in the allotment and last years garlic, planted late, had similar results to the Marco this year.
