red kidney beans

if i soak my red kinney beans over night,
fast boil them for 10 mins then simmer fo 60 mins

can i then freeze them so i can just bung them in to whatever without having to remember to start them off befor i need them?

Never tried that, but they are OK in a frozen chilli.  Why not try a small batch to check?

i've never tried it but a lottie friend does a big soak/cook of borlottie beans then batch freezes them.I would think as long as you've done the fast boil to kill any toxins they should be ok   but don't quote me.......

They should be perfectly alright done like that but to be honest tinned ones are so cheap it does not seem worth the effort.

Yes, you can do that and with Borlotti beans too. Just remember to freeze them in usable size portions so that you do not have to defrost a big lump for just a few!.
Why would anyone eat tinned anything when you can have fresh or home grown and frozen?

We don't have enough garden space to grow all we'd like.

With regard to pulses, I agree with PurpleHeather.  Rather than buy the dried commercial varieties, it is much easier to use tinned.  It also obviates the risk of poisoning.
