Allotments 4 All

just thought it would be something of interest.......who's waiting for an allotment and where? anyone waiting for 1 in milton keynes?  ???

My local council (Midlothian) has one allotment plot, :o they closed the waiting list when it reached a decade.  So I'm languishing on the list of parties interested in aquiring an allotment if provision is expanded.  ::) I'm not holding my breath...

Feel sorry for all those people out there on waiting lists. We were very lucky in the fact that we got out plot before the waiting lists in our area went through the roof. The other thing is that it is not unsual for people to have their name down on multiple site lists so sometimes the list is decieving. Are you regularly phoning up the site secretary?

Pleased I don't live in Penicuik anymore!
