I have black marks on my developing beans........not black fly.

Any idea what this is please?

Mr Smith

I've just had a dose of 'Chocolate spot' on my leaves, which in my case varied in colour slightly, you could say that it might be a shade of black and is normally caused by over crowding your beans or an over rich soil, :)

These are on the bean. Not the leaf.

I get chocolate spot on both.

I've had terrible chocolate spot on the longpods I planted earlier this year (not on the Aquadulce that I overwintered and which did very well). It's on both the leaves and the pods and the crop is ruined. I suspect it's too much nitrogen.
