Allotments 4 All

near where I work people are tarmacing over a garden. There was loads of weeds and one lovely purple pooy. Chap said I could take seedhead but it's still very green. Do you think I have a chance of voiable seed from it? As it was about to get bumped off I took him up on his offer.

If it's a somniferum (greyer foliage) they will ripen in the pod...  :)
