I have some leeks in 3" pots in the greenhouse. They are about 6" tall.  Should I plant them out yet or not?? Many thanks

The old criteria was "as soon as they are as thick as a pencil", but they go when thinner than that. Watered in well to good deep holes.
Why plant rows of 24 lettuces??

I hold them until the first earlies are out, then put them into that ground... saves space..  :)

Same as Saddad only i set a seconed batch away to go in where my spuds come out as that is where my brasica is going to go so i dont have to get rid of them. Ifact i am just onto the last of them
