Allotments 4 All

.Have decided to give up growing veg i'm afraid.  i work 8 hrs a day already and then 45 mins at the patch its to much to ask of myself. A local family are taking it over so i have sprayed it all with roundup so they dont have to work as hard as i did!! Thankyou all for your advice though take care

I just dont think im destined to be a grower i planted some chillis and toms down there about 2 months ago and they havent even started showing yet?? Dont know if its bad luck or bad seeds!

Too eager... they need a lot of warmth. Now plant some brassica seeds and step back...  ;D

Can you eat them?

Could i plant them in my hanging baskets with my cucumbers? Im confused?

Sorry Mike... Brassica is the botanical name for the cabbage family but they germinate quickly... 3-7 days so you see your results quickly. There are some good basket tomatoes... with some little gem lettuce you could grow your own salad basket!!  :)

I thought the poor sod don't stand a chance if he's put the chillies and toms in 2 months ago, and when you asked if you could grow yer brassicas in yer hangin basket I looked at yer avatar and saw that you were not yet a full hectare.
