Hi
I have been give a large perspex coldframe with an aluminium base which can accomodate warming cables and a rod thermostat (looks like a big fishtank).  Before I invest in the cable and thermostat can anyone advise as to it's usefulness?  At present I am germinating seeds on the windowsill . Could I grow peppers or aubergines or something in it as well as germinating seeds?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks

I got a little heated germinator for my birthday and it has made such a difference.  Seeds come up in no time.  No experience of cables and things but the heat should make a difference.  Unless you know different !!!!!

What are the dimensions?

As far as propagating is concerned the answer is yes!

Growing peppers and Aubergines is subject to size of the tank.

These plants can grow anything up to four foot tall and around two foot in diameter.

Plus the fact they won't require heat as such to grow.
