I bought a Stella Cherry tree on dwarf rootstock last year and have planted it in a half barrel.

I'm wondering what I should feed it, and when?

Thanks,
Jo.

I'd give it a top feed of growmore in Spring...  :-\

Thanks Saddad.

I keep hearing people mentioning feeding with Growmore. Is it organic?

Thanks,
Jo.

No, it was the first "proper" balanced fertiliser made from chemicals, introduced during the war as "National Growmore" ... unless you are Soil Association standard most lotties use it..  :-\

Thanks. I'll give it a go  ;D

Calcium I've read is very important for cherries. See below

The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Thanks, I think  ???

Do I need them all? Growmore, lime and sulphate of potash?

When do I feed each of these and how much?

Thanks,
Jo.

saddad

Well I've never limed or "potashed" my Cherry trees....
Growmore includes Potash... so I'd lime them now, if you want to, then growmore in about a month... or just growmore in a couple of weeks....  :-\
