Does anyone know of a variety of cherry tree which will be comfortable in a container, about 2' square?

I want one which will fruit.  The quantity of fruit is not really an issue, just so long as it will produce edible cherries.  The tree is for a memorial and therefore must be able to grow in a pot as when we move, it will come with us.

How about a minarette?  I got mine from Ken Muir but there are probably others.

A Dwarf Stella Cherry tree from Bakker.  It can be planted in the ground or will grow in a container.  It is well suited to the British climate too.  I bought one last year, it should produce its first fruit this year and I can't wait.

I've seen one with a name "Celeste"but not sure where.
Have never grown a cherry in a pot. The cherry trees I know are all very vigorous indeed (I have Stella in the ground) and to be honest would have doubts about the long term life of a cherry tree in a pot. But others may know more.
Peaches seem ok, I've had good crops from peach trees in pots.

Thanks for the answers guys.  I think I'll probably go for the Compact Stella.  It looks like a really nice shaped tree and is exactly what I was looking for.
