Allotments 4 All

bought from Wyvale this morning - pack of 10 Lady Crystal, 10 Pink Fir Apple + 10 Rocket, for £6. Actual individual pack price is £2.49 per pack.

Spensive against bulk buying I know, but if you only want a few for a limited space I reckon they're a good buy. Loads of different varieties to choose from, but these were the three on my wish-list, so I'm well-pleased 8)

Wilkinsons are also selling packs of 5 tubers for £1.  I got Pink Fir Apple there.

that's jolly interesting! Can you remember other varieties they're selling in  packs of 5 tubers? (mind you, spect I can Google?) It's always difficult to find small enough packs that don't seem to be a rip-off..

I'd already bought my spuds from Alan Roman, 5 varieties in 1kg bags  Because I'm short of space I'd dropped PFA from the order.  When I went in to Wilko's for onion sets, I'd decided to hurry past the seed spuds and not look at them.  But the last lonely little bag of 5 PFA's leapt into my line of sight, so it was meant to be!  I'll have to find a container to put them in  ;)

I just had a look at Wilko's website and the seed spuds aren't on it.  Maybe someone who wasn't trying to avoid looking at them will be along..........
