Is there an alternative to Arbrex? I can't seem to find it around here. How necessary is it on pruned smaller branches? Thanks.

I've been looking for it too and can't find it. I use it when I prune my plum tree to protect it from virus attack.

I was in my local garden centre yesterday getting fruit tree grease and they had tubs of something similar to Arbrex.  Didn't register the name, sorry, but you can get Arbrex on Amazon.
