Due to the price of alcohol we rarely go out drinking now.  Usually we have people round and drink in the house instead.  Much cheaper.  Why pay £2-3 per pint when I can get a pack of 12 cans for £10.  If we drink in the house it costs around £15.  For the same drinks when we go out it costs us £50-70.  Excluding taxis and..... takeaways ;D ;D

I've never tried brewing but after seeing how easy it is to make wine,
maybe you'd enjoy brewing your own? Some folks make a party out of
the initial process which gives them a reason to celebrated together again
after the fermentation.
