My husband's flying off to the USA in the morning and I know that prescribed medication can be taken on flights but is a box of paracetamol allowed?

I wouldn't take it in my handluggage unless it's on  prescription, Sam..I'd think that the risk of his hold luggage be opened and gone through is so negligible I wouldn't bother...on the other hand, he can BUY paracetamol over there?

SamLouise

No, he wants them for the flight.  That's really why we needed to know if it's allowed because then he wouldn't have to worry about where he put them.  Pocket, coat, laptop bag, etc.  He just wants them in an easily accessible place  :)

can't see why a strip wouldn't be allowed; I take aspirin with me, tell him to put them in his carry on bag, as his jacket pockets will have to be emptied into a tray along with his watch & shoes, while his bag will merely go through the scanner. All the best. Lish
