Allotments 4 All

I had some veg plants delivered  & the chard is in plugs & there are loads in each plug. Do I plant the plug as it is or do I separate them into individual plants.

Up to you, they will stand being crowded...
If you split you will check their growth so wait longer for good stems, but get more in the long run...  :-\

Thanks saddad. They are quite small. When could I expect them to crop.

They will grow quickly while it is still warm... but if you split them they may sulk as it cools down... I'd do half and half and you should get some by mid Oct from the ones you ddin't split...
