Allotments 4 All

Sorry folks, but need to vent my spleen,

Have just had one of those days. Have had a bit of a rat problem at our house this past week, and this morning discovered that they have chewed through the dishwasher hose and the hose under the sink.

The way I found this out was by turning on said dishwasher and taking the plug out of the sink....  water everywhere.

This afternoon decided that I had to tackle the ironing, so duely piled it up next to the hob and found a really good excuse not to do it...

Just before going to pick up the kids, thought I would have a quick ciggie, so lit the thing on the hob and trotted outside.

Guess what, Got back inside to find my pile of ironing on fire, plus kitchen cupboard and extractor fan.  Managed to put it out,  but can't believe how stupid I was.  More irritated about losing the clothes than anything else ( a totally girly thing I know) only iron my favourite clothes and now they are all gone, plus 4 kids worth of brand new school uniform.  grrrr, AND its all my fault and can't blame anyone else. OH not too impressed either... :-[

Eeek! Seems you have used up all this years bad luck in one go, onwards and upwards now!

Just think, it's only "things" not anyone hurt, it really could be worse!

I don't envy you but on a brighter note ......  my wife would use it as another excuse to go clothes shopping ::) ::)

oh sweetie how frustrated must you be with yourself but as you said at least noone got hurt and what a great excuse to go shopping again, actually what a great excuse to not do the ironing, why didnt i think of that one  ;D ;D
