I also went along this morning and asked, they said they were 'waiting for a head office communication to start it'...so it does seem it is coming soon! I had a look and they do seem to have sold quite a bit of their 50% off seeds, and lots of people still purchasing it seems.... :-\
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I just called the Woking branch - it's live from Tomorrow (Thursday) but they said they can do it today, there just won't be any signs up!

That's me off to Woking then!

Well, that's me just bought most of next year's seeds - £18.50 for a packet price of £84!!! And only a few that I don't need. Much less choice than last year, which I guess is better for them!

raisedbedted

Our local wyevale had very little, then I remembered an oft forgotten Wyeval that I never normally bother with.

Full choice, came out £45 poorer but 90 packs ( value £195 ) better off   ;D

Not all for me though which is just as well as I've already got 30 odd packs for next year plus my usual favourites that I can only get mail order, oh dear better go to 3 plots next year  ;D
Best laid plans and all that

Deb P

Oh now that is not fair...I've been working a 12 hour shift today and again  tomorrow, so I won't get there until Saturday! Stamps foot and throws hissy fit!!

I called into my local Wyvale near Hemel Hempstead this afternoon and they had'nt started yet - told me they were not doing it until after the weekend.
Maybe the manager's on holiday !

Thanks for the tip, Ollie  :-* :-* :-*

It was the first time I had been to Wyevales, I spent ages there, spent a lot of money, including £11.50 on seeds!  Worked out they would have cost £54, so it was worth the trip. They had some nice healthy herbs too, so I got some rosemary, thyme and lavender for the plot to attract the bees etc.

I think I have bought all my seeds for next year today, thanks Ollie.  Also got three planters reduced from £14.99 to £2 with plants in that will give another month of colour and the pots are worth more than £2 each!  And another couple of half price bedding dahlias which will look good for a while yet.  Am feeling really chuffed!  Will have to add up and see how much I saved.

And I got my 10% off with their card, was amazed to get 10% off the 50p seed packets!

Thanks Ollie. :) :) :) :)

I went to the one in Crews Hill (Enfield) today. The seeds were 50p a packet but they were moving loads of other stuff around - I reckon the sale won't get into full swing until tomorrow.

Anyway, spent £47, seed value £201.

I concentrated on getting doubles (or more) of things I really like and also more flowers and companion plants. Best bargains I suppose were the variety multi packs e.g. 5 varieties of sweetpeas,  3 varieties of runner beans, etc. They also included packs of green manure seeds (normal price £3.99) which I didn't notice last year.

I think they'll be adding more seeds as time goes on...

oh dear...
