are hen has hatched a new chick, still five eggs left ,thought it had gone to late do u think others will hatch or should i remove the other eggs

Do you know how many days shes been sitting on them for? normaly they hatch on about day 21. most people give till day 23 befor removing the eggs.

we now have 2 babys 4 eggs to go....they are black with white on breast the mother is a black rock

Are you damping the shells a bit?  When you do this you could listen to the egg - if there is life in there and they are due imminently - you can sometimes hear the faintest cheeping!

Sounds as though they may well all hatch - 2 and counting!  Good luck with them - love to see some piccies!
