Robert your elephant garlic is hugh compare what i have got .Mine are just half your sice.

It went in in October, under several inches of grass mulch. I remember sending you some - when did they go in?

Only a month later in november.

That could make quite a difference; it certainly would with overwintering onions, as they have less time to establish before winter. See how they get on; the cloves I sent were no different from the ones I planted.

They love this type of weather,you almost can see them grow,how are your toms doing,i am cultivating some very early dwarves,they are from my belarusian tomatofriend,if they perform good this season i will give you some if you wanted.Which varities are you now growing?

I'll have to check what I'm growing this year. They're coming along fine, growing like mad, and will be going out in a couple of weeks. Very early toms are always interesting!
