Sometimes they take longer than they should to germinate.

keep watering.

Ishard

Thanks, I have kept watering in the hope they are just late.

At this point I would even go a 'grow dance' naked (sky clad) by the full moon if it helped. lol

The things we do for our allotment eh?  ;D

Dig one up, very gently, and check it's condition.

If it is still a whole bean,  or is shooting put it back.

If it falls to bits or is slimy, mouldy even then it could have rotted in the soil.

I have found seeds six weeks after I planted them, have come up.

The temperature is right for growth of everything now and you could be in time to plant a few more if you want to.

Aha!! The little darlings are growing   ;D

Thanks Purpleheather for reminding me what to do :)

I have no idea why I didnt do this before as I did it this morning with the sweetcorn lol
Brain fade maybe?

Seeds will often sit until they have the right conditions. The danger is that they'll often rot, but if you've got big seeds you should always check. BB's are tough so they don't rot very often. I don't usually have any problems with them but my Aquadulce Claudia were badly thinned by the long winter. 90% were there in February; now look at the gaps.
