Mr Smith

Flunky,
Just laid one myself the other week  the shed is only a 6'x4' but I had several 2'x2' slabs kicking about levelled the ground put the slabs down with the shed on the top of the slabs , if you want the shed higher up in the air get hold of some breeze blocks or something similar but don't forget to knock  a couple of posts in the ground right next to the shed and fasten them to it to stop it blowing away :)

If you are on an allotment site then raise it up about 18 inches off the ground and support it on breeze blocks. It will help stop rats and mice getting in and also help to keep the damp out. If one of the blocks settles into the ground it is easy to raise the shed up to insert a packer to level it up again.

I am just redoing mine in my garden.   I have an 8x10ft shed.  It will be on 3 rows of breeze blocks, three on the left, centre and right.   I am then putting 4 inch square by 8ft long posts on top of these.
All you do and all you see is all your life will ever be
