Hi all,

I was offered a white bantam silkie cockeral today because he is being beaten up by another more dominant male. I agreed to take him but when I introduced him to my 3 female goldlines he went for them, thinking they were the cockeral   :(

I had to tell them that he couldn't stay, but he can't stay where he is either, hence this 'free to good home'

I dont think he'll think its the cockeral.  Adding any newbies will upset the pecking order.  I'm sure he's just showing them who the new boss is.  They'll get it sorted soon if you leave them to it. :)

Oh bless, he was just showing off, the girls will gang up on him and let him know who is boss in the hen house and in a week they will all be the best of friends.
He just has to learn to be a nice man and that takes a female  X 3.

I know you're right but he'd already had such a beating from the other rooster that I didn't want him to be upset any more so gave him back.
