Its easy just add another  monosyllabic word that ryhmns with the last word on here.

As it is a gardening site I will start it off with


BULB

ACE

The only monosyllabic word in the English language which comes close to bulb is stilb.
How about MONTH?

If we dont have to stick to English them how about simply translating it to French bulbe. Depending on your accent the English word alb could sound very similar to bulb too.

Wiki is not always right & I have always been interested in languages, my English teacher nearly always had to get the dictionary out to mark my work & he was the head of the department.

culb apparently is a retort used for chemical or alchemical reactions
