I did go a bit mad with the bedding plants last year, I had to force myself not too this year!

Am still chasing the man from the council about the lotties - I think he's avoiding me  ::)  If memory serves me correctly from the last time I enquired about them, they're pretty enormous. Since my husband is mortally afriad of fresh air & soil it'll be a case of doing a bit at a time. . . .

Maybe we could stick the bigger shed on half of the plot ;D

Hi Mrs Gumboot ( & Merete)

welcome !!!

Keep on at the Council - at ours they only contact people once a year when the rent is duein April. So if someone paid in April and gave up in May it would still be next April before they offered it to someone else.

If you have identified a plot that seems to be abandoned find out about it from the other plotholders & target (hassle) the council about that specific plot.

Good Luck

Gail

Hello from me, too.

;DA belated hi Mrs. G. I float between the boards, beeb and here. Its good to talk to gardening folk isn't it?We're kind, clever, experts, full of the joys, never a cross word, happy go lucky....WHAT? what? Just telling the truth ;D ;D :-X ;D ;D

Welcome to our shed Mrs G & Merete.   I too defected from the Beeb 'cos it was soooooooo formal.  Over here it's much more relaxed and informative.

I think between us what we don't know would fit on Alan Titmarsh's little finger nail.

The only problem with the shed is that's it's getting very crowded.   I think to fit everybody in we need to upgrade to a summer house.
