hi gang,

poly tunnel is under way a little slow at present due to the rain/snow/ice/sleet.

but this is how far ive got upto yet. will get it done by the weekend as ive got friday & monday off from work. ;D









And on the funny side this pic was taken last summer our cat found the hot days a little to much so she turned to the best drink in the world!!




I will be doing plans for this project so if any one would like a copy please let me know.

I agree with old bird, thegoodlife: it looks the business.
I'd love one of those - once we have the fruit cage up.
If you have any plans I'd be interested:  might be easier to nudge my partner (otherwise very handy) to commit himself to yet another project.

Just one question are you glueing the joints
or staying with push fit, {on the conduit that is}

all joints have been glued ;D, stuck me fingers a couple of times :D

got the wood for nowt as they say. the plastic & tees etc from an electrical wholesaler.

using 3x2 for a bit of sturdiness as the winds here can get a bit hair raising as you might say!!

not sure if the plastic pipes are strong enough?

pipes are a heavy gauge so they will take some weight, they are a 4mm x 20mm dia, thickness spaced at every 2ft so if ive done my math correctley they will be fine ;D

The poly sheet is on & if i do say so myself ive done a d**n good job :D :D :D.

I will post some pics on 2moro, ive also been given an old rayburn to heat the place up in the winter ;D. just want to wait first to see if it holds up to some strong winds :P
