I was picking some of my Red Cabbages yesterday. Most are a beautiful ruby red however one had lots of white areas on the leaves. It looks healthy otherwise but I wondered if it is some kind of deficiency? This is the first time I've grown red cabbage so I haven't seen it before. The outside leaves were normal but holey!

I was going to suggest frost damage as that can whiten the leaves of brassicas but if they look healthy enough then maybe some for of albinism - lack of pigmentation, and probably nothing to worry about

I don't think it's frost damaged the leaf looks very normal I thought it would be a nutrient deficiency probably one involved in anthocyanin   production. Just wondered if anyone else had it?

I'm going to eat it anyway.
