Have You Broken Your New Year's Resolution Yet?

Well, simple question, are you still keeping the resolution you made, or is it broken already?

My resolution was to not accept any carrier bags in any shops, have to re-use old bags everywhere - this is easier said than done, as I often just pop into supermarket in the centre of town ad-hoc

But so far so good, although Jon and I looked very funny the other day, crossing the road with a pile of groceries each!!! must put more bags in boot, and remember to take them to shops! ;D

good luck with those :)
I'll be happy if I can manage to keep a diary of this year's crops â€" didn't write much down last year and even though it was my first year and I didn't grow much, some notes would have been very helpful for this year's plan!
I've got as far as buying hugh fearnley whittingstall's 2008 diary in the sale so I've made a start ;D

theothermarg - good luck, I'm also losing weight - 18lbs in last 6 months, and probably put back on about 8 of it over Christmas

norfolklass - I could have given you a copy of HFW's 2007 diary - completely unwritten in!!!! :o

I asked for that didn't I :o  ;D

No not really, heres your answer

50 years ago I had my first ciggie, as a boy entrant in the navy we were given duty free RN cigarettes, got hooked and that was that. I have no pressure to give it up, although I have promised myself a new Merc if I still havn't smoked at Easter. So here I am snapping at everyone and playing with my worry beads, don't know why, nobody is nagging me, I don't pay much as all my Gauloises come back from holidays or a friendly lorry driver, usually tax free. I'm healthy enough. The only reason I can make up is that I do not like standing outside of the pub with all the losers in their cheap white trainers.

Froglegs

So what is the correct footwear when one is smoking a coffin nail. ::)

ACE

Well I always wore red kickers, but you can't get them anymore, so now I wear imitation blue ones that I have made for me. I always judge people by their footwear, hence losers=white trainers,(one step away from a shell suite). gentlemen=brogues, chutney ferrets=loafers, eco warriors=sandals, allotmenteers=wellies, slippers=daft old buggers that ask silly questions.

Got me in one Ace! How did you know! Still haven't made a resolution, does that make me Irresolute?
;D

Froglegs

Ya did say Kickers.........? :-*

prink13

Ace, good luck to you  :)

Jon and I gave up 18 months ago, he found it a real struggle, and still feels the urge occasionally - I've got loads of nicotine patches if you want them!!!! ;D
