Allotments 4 All

Just been offered autumn onions £5-90 for 300.
  But is it to late to plant or will i be OK. Plenty of friends to take some of me.

You should get away with it, I have in the past.  I used to wait until the garden centre sold them off cheap.  With that number, you could plant them closer together, then thin out if necessary in the spring.
