I have been told that, rather than grow spring cabbage over winter, I can plant Hispi in January and it will be ready as a spring cabbage in March.  Can anyone confirm this please?  If so, do I sow it in an airing cupboard or in cold greenhouse.

HISPI
Popular, tasty, reliable variety!
Medium-sized compact pointed heads of delicious flavour. Quick maturing and ideal for close spacing. Sow October under glass for transplanting January under frames. Sow early February under glass for June cutting, or March-July outdoors.

Thank you PaulW.  That is exactly the sort of information I hoped someone would tell me.  I'll go out and plant some in the next few days.  Thanks again

I just bought some Hispi plants from the garden centre a few weeks ago then found they're sort of out of season! Why do they sell the wrong plants at the wrong time all the time. ???
