Allotments 4 All

...I noticed the hazel tree in front of my house....

....It was chucking nuts all over the place...

So, I thought....what a waste. I could do something with them...maybe not eat 'em...there a bit small, but they must be good for something...So...I gathered some up....

...Laid out a few tools....

...and a few more...

...and with a tin of fresh nuts tried to make my mind up which one to start on....then there was this little voice....It came twice...sort of like this...

So, off we went. Among all the drilling and shaving and cutting and rasping and chuckling (not me chuckling...the nutty ones did that)...we sort of ended up with a nut or two far happier now than they before, just laying there waiting to get kicked, or worse still, run over!

The ranks were swelling...

But...There was a problem. Apparently, all new Nutty's have to be inspected on completion, (Yes, it was a suprise to me too). An inspection by the terrible 'Ma Grazz' is really something else. She's a real terror by all accounts but I wasn't too worried until it happened.....! The cry went out...

Sure enough! In no time at all, Ma Grazz landed on the work bench....Oooo!

Talk about panic! Everyone was running around not knowing what to do...they had to line-up for inspection but they were all over the place enjoying a bit of freedom and...well, just panicking...sort of...

Some tried to hide, some lined up properly, some just lost it...

...

...and so began the inspection...
"Mmmm...you use furniture polish on this?"

"Right, who's next? Good heavens, got to inspect that mess of hair over there."
