How easy is it to save seed to eat just like them fancy shops sell and that annoying scottish woman tells you to eat???

Just wondered as we have just taken our first of the year and wondered if the seed could be saved?

Depends what plant you're talking about. Some, like tomatoes, are easy. Others, like brassicas, are much harder if you want to be sure of getting seed that comes true.

HI

I think your talking about drying seeds for eating rather than planting like pumpkin seeds??

I tryed it last year and did not have much sucesss but cant for the life of me decide what i did (i am sure someone here will know or google).

I am sure that you can grow hemp for the seeds, not sure about linseed :)

Sorry, I'm recovering from a bad attack of migraine.

it is for eating rather than for growing. just thinking if there was another way of getting the most out of my crop.
