I've got several aubergine plants, Enorma, in the greenhouse.
They're nice and sturdy with loads of growth and flowers.

On a couple of them, they've started producing fruit from the bottom up, only for the stems the fruit is on and the fruit itself, to shrivel up and turn brown and dusty, and eventually drop off.

Does anyone know what the problem may be. I've started pollinating with a brush, thinking it may be this, but the fruit is being produced initially.

The main stem, leaves and flowers show no sign of infection. In fact there is so much foliage being produced, i've started thinning out at the bottom, much in the same way as taking the sideshoots of tommies, to try and divert the goodness up to the baby aubs.

Blimey

Have i stumped you all, or was it such a ridiculous question it didn't warrant an answer. ::)

Sounds to me like bad pollination!!

The atmosphere might be too dry try spraying/misting the flowers early in the day and this might help the flower set.
