dont know but one of my peas has gone like that aswell and the peas rotted whilst growing (hurst greenshaft)

I started mine off in cardboard tubes before planting them out and they went like this initially.  it turned out to be lack of nutrients so I put some chicken manure pellets on them and they are doing fine.

have they been setting pods for very long?  I understand that they will only set pods for a few weeks and then are spent, but some of the more experienced gardeners should be able to put you right on that.

Sometimes pulling the pods pulls the plant out and then it dies...

May need a good feed? All this rain is washing away nutrients
They also look a bit like my 2nd crop do in the Autumn when they start to go moldy.

It doesn`t look to me like a nutrient problem, as other adjoining plants are perfectly o.k., and it certainly doesn`t resemble any of the pea virus or fungi.  The colour of the stems, and the amount of dead foliage suggests to me a problem with the roots failing to function - probably as a result of the weather.

And don`t forget , TOMORROW IS ST. SWITHIN`S DAY!

If they have cropped that is how they go when they are dying back
