Allotments 4 All

It's finally happened!!!
After around 2 to 3 months of digging and sticking stuff into the earth...

...I've got my first ever edible stuff out of my new allotment.

Ok, it might only be a few raddishes (and I don't even like raddishes that much) but for me it's an achievement that I never thought would happen.

Thus today I am happy.

And all other newbies out there: take heart, if I can get something to grow then anyone can!

(Only problem is that I'm so proud of my little badies that I don't want to eat them  ::))

Congratulations!  Good feeling innit!  I remember me first carrots. They weren't up to much but I was pretty made up with myself !  ;D

Some interesting variation in shapes and sizes but Mrs Si says that they taste very good  ;D



Think I'll stick some more radish seed in now that I know that I can do 'em.
