Allotments 4 All

While tackling the mammoth weeding task this morning i thought i would take some pics of the lovely flowers some weeds have.





I placed the "weeds" in tiny breeder pots to take the photo. I really should have put something next to them to indicate scale but i forgot  :-[

Beautiful pictures.  Do you know the names of the weeds?  I'm guessing the first is Speedwell but I have no idea what the other one is.

I've no idea of their names, i will have to take photo's of them full size so someone can telll us  :)

1st one is speedwell. Not sure about the 2nd one but I know I've seen loads of it!

I like weeds ya know  ;D Some people refer to them as 'wild flowers'

P.S. You know the flowers? Well if you pinch them off and suck the bottom you can taste the nectar! Just remembered I used to do this as a kid.

the second one looks like henbit dead-nettle.

 "weeds cab" is that a new taxi service ;D
