Hello

Anyone else using the HDRA seeds?  What have you used and how are the yields?

Was given some bean seeds a few years and and they were crap.  :( :( :(

I've used them for several years but this year the quality seems to have gone out the window in keeping with their name change and new image. On the other hand, I've also used The real seed company whose products have been superb, the germination showing exactly what rubbish all the other companies are dishing out. If HDRA serves me rubbish again this winter it will be the last time.

Do you mean the HDRA Seed Library, where the seed is saved by volunteer "seed guardians"? Or the Organic Garden Catalogue, which is a separate commercial organisation?

I've used both for several years and haven't noticed any greater problems than with any other seed. The Seed Library stuff has always seemed a bit more reliable than most large commercial companies. (See Tee Gee's thread in Pests & Diseases on this one.)

I've used them for over a decade and have never had any germination problems which is perhaps as well with the small numbers!
