Hi, I will soon have to make a decision about all my plants that are waiting to go out that cannot because the ground is flooded.

Is there anyone  on high ground who is safe from the flooding who I could perhaps give some plants to.

I have a great many brassicas for growing over the winter that are ready to go out  plus a large number of assorted squash plants.

We keep hanging on, in the hope that the water will go down but it is highly unlikey  now and I would rather someone have them then chuck them in the compost.

I will leave it to the very last minute but if you can give them some space can you let me know.

Hello Jeannine,

I would love to offer a home to some squash plants, I keep promising myself I will try growing them but get overwhelmed by the choice of varieties and how I would cook them. I'm not sure on the practicalities or cost of transporting them all the way to Surrey though?

Hopefully someone nearer to you will adopt them, maybe you can negotiate visitation rights  ;D ::)

Jeannine,

I can happily home 3-4 pumpkin plants in one of my beds i have yet to build so i will be able to home them in about a week?

I am also happy for you to come down and collect the fruits when there ready so that you have some for over winter :-)
