Nice pics TeeGee. I like those streptocarpus. I used to have a few of them many years ago. Looking at them has made me want some more. Think I'm gonna take a look on the net and see what I can find. Thye would be just the thing for my shady greenhouse during the summer. Thanks for sharing
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Tee Gee Really enjoyed another wonder through your garden, I really must take some lessons on making hanging baskets look attractive. Thank you.

That's all looking so pretty TG.  Do you raise the flowers from seeds?

QuoteDo you raise the flowers from seeds?

As a general rule yes! but this year I managed to get some pre-germinated seed for £1-10p a pot to supplement what I sowed and grew on..

For £5-50 I got

62 Antirrhinum
55 Asters
30 Petunia
34 Begonia semperflorens
26 Impatiens (Busy Lizzie)

= 207 plants which is roughly 2½p each.......a bargain I thought

Marymary

Twas indeed a bargain TG & some of those flower seeds are difficult little blighters smaller than a pinhead so would be worth it not to have to try & 'sow thinly' as the packets suggest.
