I'll be coming briefly with seeds as promised then off to Strawberry Fair. OH has bailed out on the fair - typical but poor me and little son have been stuck in the house ALL week and he is really looking forward to getting out.

I didn't realise i was on the list and didn't check the thread until this morning - but I can't come!  :'(

If i owe dosh for the entrance fee please let me know and I'll send it straight away, i don't want anyone having to cough up because of my stupidity   :-X

Had a superb day, great to see people 'in the flesh'!! Thanks to Kathi for organising it, and the seed swap (I got some beans to replace my frosted ones that I lost this week so I am well pleased!!!)

Feet are sore, but we had a great time.

Hubbie took my and my friend to a garden centre to buy the yellow climber you see in the previous post ( 2nd to last photo ) i also bought a peony at barnsdale :-) .

Cant want for next year.

It was smashing to meet so many of you all, thank you for sharing your seeds and yourselves with us, it was a delightful day.

John as you noticed is very quiet but he was quite taken with the fact that it seemed that  so many folks coming together who he thought were strangers quickly became firm friends.

Hi everyone,

Mark and I had a really fab day today.  Weather was brilliant, company even better!  It was lovely to meet you all and a big thanks to Kathi for organising everything.

It was great to see the veg plots and very encouraging to see that it looks like we might be getting at least some of it right  ;)

Got a few more seeds now so it looks like more of the lawn's got to go (don't tell the kids!)

Looking forward to next year's event.

I agree it was a lovely day out, Peter & I really enjoyed it & the weather was amazing.  Beautiful place too & so nice to meet so many of you in the flesh.  Looking forward to next year too - maybe name badges would be a good idea  :)
