Can it be moved? Have tons of the stuff, in the wrong place...can it be moved or how can I take cuttings.

Yeah, it can be moved and split. As long as it's not shooting now (some will be) you can dig it out and divide as necessary (be prepared to have a couple of blunt saws by the end of the splitting). Don't divide into small pieces - it takes forever to recover. Bamboos are *generally* shallow rooting, but even so, you've got a bit of graft on your hands.
