I'm sure like me you took advantage of the free lettuce offer in this month's Kitchen Garden magazine.  Has anyone had delivery of them yet?  I ordered them a couple of days after the magazine came out and I've still not received them.

Yes and no. I got a card today saying I had a package from a courier that couldn't be delivered because I was out, I rang the company and they are bringing it to work because it said perishable on it. I presume it is the lettuces. Will let you know XX Jeannine

Although my copy made reference to these freebies, there wasn't the form to actually complete to get them!!!

I ordered mine online and it said delivery late may early June! Bit disappointing but never mind as i have a million lettuces here growing at home so should really get stuck into those first. Problem is i cant remember if what is growing is a cut and come again or a headed lettuce - durrr

When I ordered mine it also said May/June.  So nothing yet.

Think they made a bit of a boo boo of the whole thing really.

Well my perishable parcel turned out to be nuts and liquorice not lettuce plants !! Jeannine

You need to go to http://www.kitchengarden.co.uk/ and follow the link from the main page where you can order them.  I ordered two lots but have only had to pay the £2.99 delivery.

I haven't planted any lettuce yet.  I assume I will have time?  Mind you, knowing my luck I will sow them and a week later the plug plants will arrive!  :)
