Allotments 4 All

Hi all, apparently we've been offered some pumpkin plant cuttings by a friend of my hubby's at work who grows them.  I've never heard of this, so how do we go about growing them when they come?  Never grown pumpkins before so any advice welcome!  ???

Mystified!!  ??? Never heard of pumpkin plant cuttings. I am not an expert, but are they not seedlings you have been offered? busy_lizzie 

Yeah i thought it sounded a bit weird busylizzie, perhaps hubby has got it wrong - he's not totally up on the lingo bless him  ;D
