I have noticed tiny egg like things at almost every leaf joint of my newly emerging grapevine leaves.

Are they eggs of some pest ? there seems too many surely .............Honeydew perhaps. The vine came with the house which I have only had 6 months and is in an unheated conservatory.Any info please...

I have the same thing, small round stick eggs that glisten

i havent looked it up yet, but i know the vine has had mealybugs before.

These live inside little tufts of "cotton wool" and are orange if you scrape them off and squeeze them.

I will have to get this looked into.  The vine is organic, so i hope savona will be sufficient to clear the pest away.

keep following this post ill get back when i can

Scale insect? or Wooly aphids? both normal on indoor vines, even this mild winter seems to have been sufficient to keep mine clear (outside)

hello just read your problem and glad to inform you that you have no problem. What you have in fact is a good thing, it is excess sugar crystals that a very vigorous and happy vine produced when it starts to grow. Every year this will be the first sign that your vine is healthy

Great........Thanks for the info Cloudymoon - I suspected this may be the case. There were just too many of them.
