I thought I'd share this with you all as it made me laugh.  :D

Today was the day I decided to plant my second early potatoes.  I'd dug a trench to a spit deep, half filled it with well rotted manure and turned it over.  I was crouching down with one foot on each side of the trench planting the spuds in front and under me.  I leaned back to plant another, but lost my balance.  I slipped, lost my footing and promptly  ended up on my bum in the trench!  :o ;D  I couldn't move for laughing.  I'm happy to say there was no damaged done to me or the potatoes and I finished planting.

Lets just say I will be more careful when planting the lates!

I don't think anyone saw me (I hope)!  ::)

The manure had been on a small heap for about a year.  I took it from the bottom on the pile and was absolutely full of brandling worms.  I didn't know whether to put them on the plot or to go fishing with them!
