Allotments 4 All

Hi I have just opened one of my  last seasons  winter squashes, it is Delicata type, Sugar Loaf,my personal favourite. I was going to chuck the seeds  as I don't need them but thought someone may fancy them, I have never taken seeds out this late before for keeping. There is quite a lot.I have about 8 more of these squash left in storage and a couple of Kuris. Anyone want them or some of the others. XX Jeannine

Do you have any Delicata type, Sugar Loaf seeds left? not grown them before and would love to give them a try xx

I tend to cast my spare seeds randomly in quiet places in the nearby countryside and see if they which they often do.

Or use them as a green manure in september, chuck all my old seed onto the beds and wait till they grow a bit then dig them in as it gets too cold.

Good and bad news, I left the seeds overnight to dry off a wee bit and they are thin with no kernels, however I opened up the Kuri and they are super, I will get back to those folks who PM me Thank you Jeannine

I have just looked in  my Sugar Loaf stash of dry seeds and it is fairly healthy,so Bisombe,Mary Mary,Olive Oil and whoever had alread PM me I can send you a few of those . I will enclose a few of the fresh Kuris too to each of you.

Don't think they will be any left after that though.

Seeds of both type posted just now to Mary Mary,Olive Oil and Biscombe + others who PM 'd me, please take the Kuri seeds out of the plastic on arrival and plant or put to dry. XX Jeannine
