 Stretching the post a bit but how about cleaning silver with tomato ketchup,it's a use for an edible plant product and it really works XX Jeannine

it's a variety of radish you grow to eat the seed pods, instead of the root. They look like green chillies, and have a hot radish(y) taste. They're not everyone's cup of tea. We grow them to have in the main bit of summer, when proper radishes struggle. I think we got them from T&M

Thank you for looking RT, but not to worry will look on T&M web site it will give me a good excuses to order yet more seeds. ::) ;D

Grape leaves might be used in cooking and making wine. My aunt used to stuff them and they were delicious. Cherry tree leaves are used to flavour jams and also in pickles. Orange peelings make an aphids spray also I think it might be used against powdery mildew. Willow water for rooting your cuttings.
Vinegar from pickles might be used to clean a stove.
